Kalam’s Vision of Developed India
Synopsis
APJ Abdul Kalam 11th President of our country was a great visionary,
statesmen in real sense, a wonderful teacher, India’s most distinguished
scientist dreamer of great dreams, a true leader with spiritual base, harbinger
of technological revolution, a great thinker and voracious reader and prolific
writer, dedicated and determined to create knowledge economy and making
India a developed nation. He had a vision to transform our countrymen into
people of affluent society. He had full faith in the youth and the student
community of our country and hoped that ignited young minds will work to
turn India into a developed nation. Kalam Sb. relied on the power and
potentials of our youth who are well equipped with tools of technology and
that of management of resources.
In the view of Kalam the most powerful resource on the earth is the
ignited mind of youth and therefore, the youth should be empowered with
adequate knowledge and leadership qualities to make the developed India a
reality. Youths are full of vigour and strength and they can make any
impossible thing possible.
